I find joy in helping children and their families work together to increase daily functional living skills through play. My background in infant and pediatric massage allows me to facilitate more natural movements incorporating full body engagement during sessions to improve participation. I use a play- based approach to motivate children in reaching their goals and full potential. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, playing soccer, going to the beach with my dog, and watching movies.

As someone whose brother attended occupational therapy throughout his life, I’ve been able to experience therapy through the lens of both the family and provider. This has given me a true appreciation for the importance of collaboration and trust between families and their therapist. I am dedicated to working together with families and their child to foster independence and participation in daily activities to the best of their ability. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends hiking, baking cookies, and going to concerts.

I enjoy pediatric occupational therapy because we get to work on family driven goals, in a fun and playful manner to assist the development of children. Most of my experience has been in an acute rehabilitation hospital working with children as young as infancy to early adulthood. My favorite part of being an occupational therapist is seeing the excitement a child and their families have when they achieve a new skill. In my free time I love spending time at the beach, paddle boarding, and barbecuing with my family and friends.

I am an occupational therapist with a diverse set of skills and deep knowledge in both pediatric and adult occupational therapy, with over 20 years of experience. I spent the first 15 years of my career working with adults in various settings with a focus in neurologic rehabilitation and orthopedics. Seven years and two children later, I transitioned into the world of pediatric occupational therapy. I believe in collaborating with parents to determine how to best support their child’s development. I love to play as much as the children I work with! My family and I are passionate about nature, traveling, and being active. I have been an indoor cycling instructor for over 10 years and truly enjoy being able to facilitate health and wellness for people of all ages.

Occupational Therapist

Arielle Zhu

Strengths: Motivated, Social, Compassionate

Occupational therapy has always been a passion of mine. I have known about the profession since I was around 11 years old, as we had a family friend who received OT services in her home. We would be over everyday during the summer so I would often sit in on her OT sessions and I just loved seeing the progress she would make every week. I knew from that point on that I wanted to be an occupational therapist and never looked back. I made that dream of mine into a reality and I have never looked back! I love working hard to help children achieve their goals and it’s an extra bonus that I get to play everyday!

Occupational Therapist

Jill Justiniani

Occupational Therapy has been a passion of mine first, and a career choice second. From watching my younger sister receive occupational therapy throughout her life, I have personally experienced the many benefits that this field can bring to children and their families and I strive to offer the same level of support that was given to my own family. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, taking our dog to the beach and visiting a local farmers market.

Strengths: Patient, Sociable, Compassionate

As someone who grew up in a close-knit family surrounded by faith and military service members, service was always a central tenet in my life. I wanted to do my part and serve others as an OT by helping children lead meaningful lives and achieve age appropriate functional skills through increased participation and independence in their everyday life activities. I am passionate about pediatrics and have years of experience working with kids. I enjoy helping children reach their milestones and participate in the meaningful activities they love to do as well as connecting with their families, making OT so exciting and fulfilling. Seeing how happy children get when they reach a goal or establish a new skill makes it all worth it! In my free time, I enjoy going on adventures with my husband, working out at the gym, relaxing at the beach, painting, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and playing soccer.
